Highgate Care Superheroes raise money for Alzheimer's Society.

Highgate Care are pleased to announce they have raised £1,397.84 for Alzheimer’s Society following a group-wide Superhero Party fundraising event.

Joining Marton Care Homes and St Mary’s Care Homes, a combined total of £2,740.34 was raised for the charity, with staff and residents dressing up as their favourite superheroes to raise both funds and awareness for people living with dementia.

Each Highgate Care home hosted its own Superhero Party, putting on their own activities and games for residents, families and members of the local community to take part in.

The event was created to recognise care staff and residents as the everyday heroes they truly are, while supporting the vital work of Alzheimer’s Society in helping people affected by dementia live well for longer.

Managing Director of Highgate Care, Joanne Fogg, said: “Events like our Superhero Summer Party capture everything we stand for. Kindness is key in the care we provide every day, and it was wonderful to see that kindness shine through as staff and residents came together to support Alzheimer’s Society. These moments of joy, connection and compassion truly show the difference our everyday heroes make.”

Following the success of this event, each of the care groups involved are planning to hold a second event in 2026.
